“When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭17‬:‭12‬ ‭

Aaron and Hur come alongside Moses to hold up his hands during battle. When Moses grew  weary, their willingness to step in and assist him became  vital for the Israelite victory. This highlights the importance of teamwork; we are not designed to make a difference alone. Just as Moses relied on the strength of his companions, we too can make a difference by supporting those around us.

The New Testament echoes this call to support one another in Galatians 6:2, which reminds us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." This principle is evident in various fields where assistants provide essential support to their principals. Some  contributions, though  behind the scenes, are crucial for effective results. As we go through   life, let us be intentional about uplifting those around us. In part we are all products of those who have stood by our side. At least I am. Remember; “In lifting others, we rise together."
