Proverbs 3

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭

Let love and faithfulness never leave you by doing so you find favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.  We are to have a love that is steadfast and loyalty that is not easily swayed. Be loving and loyal, steadfast and sincere in all manner of relationships. 

The fourth verse makes the point that those who keep the virtues of love and faithfulness, can expect to find favor and good success in the sight of God and man; the same way Jesus Christ our Lord did. “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke‬ ‭2:52‬. Our lives are not only meant to please God. We have an obligation to gain good names in society. “ In light of this my encouragement today is; “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; …. . Heb 12:14‬.
